A man died after being struck by a lightning in Sankhuwasabha district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) chairman Nabin Jimi.

Jimi, a BEd first year student, had won the Free Student Union (FSU) elections from Rameshwor Multiple Campus on March 1, 2017.

Seriously injured in the incident, he breathed his last on the way to a hospital, police informed.
