Three minors died in a tractor accident while playing on the road outside their house in Goith Koilpur-9 in Dhanusha district on Wednesday.
According to SP Manoj Kumar Yadav, three-year-old Sabita Safi, daughter of Khokhila Safi, Sangita Safi, 5, daughter of Shyam Safi, and Priya Safi, 5, daughter of Sangita Safi, died when the trailer of a tractor carrying bricks overturned.
Police said the tractor driver, a resident of Yadukuha, has been absconding.
The bodies of the little girls have been ferried to Janakpur Zonal Hospital for post-mortem.
