More than a dozen villages of Terathum district bordering the Tamor river are facing drinking water problems.
The local villagers in Iwa, Hwaku, Chatedhunga, Chuhandanda, Sakranti, Thoklung of Aathrai area and Hamarjung, Okhre, Sudaap,
Phakchamara and Panchakanya of Chathar area are having problems in the supply of fresh drinking water.
The water resources in the villages including the water taps and wells have already dried up. Many villagers spend a whole day just to
fetch a bucket of water, Panchakanya's Yasodha Dahal said. Many villagers have been migrating every year due to the chronic water
