Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha leaders and cadres have decided not to celebrate Holi in Sapari district this year to mourn the death of its four cadres killed in police firing in Maleth of the district on March 6.
They were killed when police opened fire to stop them from disrupting the CPN-UML’s Mechi-Mahakali campaign.
Some Morcha cadres and general public were seen tonsuring their heads to mourn the deaths.
The Morcha had lifted the banda today in view of Holi festival. RSS
