NOC raises cooking gas price

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised the price of cooking gas by Rs 25 per cylinder with effect from Friday midnight.
With the revision, a cylinder of cooking gas would now cost Rs 1375. Earlier, it cost Rs 1350, informed NOC spokesperson and chief of distribution Sitaram Pokhrel.
The price hike follows the increment in the price of LP Gas by India Oil Corporation.
NOC was bearing a loss of Rs 313.51 per cylinder of cooking gas. With the latest price hike, its loss has reduced to Rs 288.51 per cylinder.
The price of petrol, diesel and kerosene are intact.
