The government has condemned the killing of an innocent Nepali national Govinda Gautam on Thursday due to fire opened by the Indian security forces at Nepal-India border near Anandabazar at Punarbas Municipality, Ward No. 8 of Kanchanpur District, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The government has already taken up this matter with serious concern at higher diplomatic level of the government of India with a demand to investigate into the incident and bring the guilty to justice.
The government has also called for taking necessary steps to bring the situation under control so that no further untoward incident takes place in the said border area. RSS
