Three persons died and dozens injured when police opened fire to contain the situation following a clash with agitating cadres of Madhesi Morcha during the main opposition CPN-UML’s Mechi-Mahakali campaign.
While inaugurating a newly constructed Kangling Monastery at Ghyangsukathor in the district on Tuesday, PM Dahal pledged to provide compensation to the family members of deceased and free treatment to those injured in the incident.
PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), informed that he would hold talks with the Tarai-centric parties to resolve the problems of Tarai today itself.
The Prime Minister further urged one and all to take part in the local level elections slated for May 14. RSS
