A man has died after being electrocuted last night while attempting to hook the electricity from a high voltage line at Khojpur VDC-7 in Saptari district.
The Area Police Office, Kalyanpur, said that 45-yer-old Mohammad Jiyaul Miya of Banarjhula VDC-3 was electrocuted. Miya was electrocuted when he came into contact with 11,000 voltage line while hooking the power in his mango garden.
Miya, who sustained serious injuries due to electric burns, died while receiving treatment in the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, the District Police Office Saptari confirmed. RSS
