Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) president Jin Liqun paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, at the Finance Ministry on Thursday afternoon.
In the meeting, DPM Maharajah urged him to promote Indian invest in the big projects that Nepal is seeking to undertake.
According to the Ministry sources, in response to Mahara, the AIIB president said that the Bank was ready to invest in big projects proposed by Nepal and further suggested for creating conducive environment to complete the project in time.
Liqun had arrived here on Wednesday leading a high level team from the Bank side to attend the Nepal Investment Summit that began here from today. RSS
