Police have impounded an ambulance along with seven sack of marijuana on Tuesday.
The ambulance, Ko 1 Cha 5505, belonging to Yakthaku Nawahang Chemjong Bansha Uthan Sangh was used for smuggling marijuana, according to the District Police Office, Sunsari.
A joint team of District Police Office, Sunsari, Border Security Police Post, Bhantabari, and Armed Police Post Border Outpost, Bhantabari, seized 188 kg of marijuana from the ambulance while acting on a tip-off.
Investigation into the case was underway while impounding the ambulance and arresting a passenger, said police. RSS
