The National Seismological Centre (NSC) of Nepal recorded two aftershocks of the Gorkha earthquake on Monday.
An aftershock with local magnitude 4.6 struck Ramechhap district at 9:22 am today.
According to the NSC, its epicentre was close to Sunarpani of the district.
Similarly, another aftershock with magnitude 4.7 jolted the district at 10:06 am.
The NSC said that its epicentre was close to Kathior of the district.
The tremblor was an aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake that rocked the nation on April 25, 2015, the NSC informed.
The tremors were also felt in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley.
The aftershocks were recorded after nine days.
The last aftershock was recorded at 6 am on February 18 with its epicentre at Dhading district.
