Talking to reporters in the Capital on Saturday, Manish Kumar Suman, general secretary of the Sadbhawana Party, said the Morcha could decide to withdraw support and cut off ties with the government anytime soon, “even in another 24 hours”.
He ruled out possibilities of taking parts in the elections under the existing circumstances. “The constitution should be endorsed after necessary revisions if major parties want us to take part in the elections,” said Suman.
Suman’s remarks came a day after Sanghiya Gathabandhan, an alliance of Janajati and Madhesi, parties announced that they were planning to sever ties with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government. (PR)
