The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) caught three officials of the Land Revenue Office, Bhaktapur, red-handed with bribe on Thursday.
The suspects have been identified as non-gazetted officer Rishi Ram Budhathoki of Chittapole, Suryabinayak Municipality-12, accountant Bishnu Bisratu of Taumadi, Bhaktapur and office assistant Keshav Khatri of Pipaldanda-3, Sindhupalchok.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from the anti-graft constitutional body caught them while they were taking Rs 614,000 from a service seeker at a restaurant in Bhaktapur Municipality-1.
