A woman has been found dead at Takumajhlakuribot in Gorkha district.
The woman, identified as Bimala Bayalkoti, 37, of Takumajhlakuribot-9 was found dead in a forest on Tuesday. DSP Birendra Thapa said her body has been brought to district headquarters and has been kept at Gorkha Hospital for post mortem.
Police said there are three deep wounds on her heat and suspected she migh have been murdered. Locals also said Bayalkoti had donned golden ornaments while she had gone to forest to fetch firewood. The ornaments were not found at the scene when the body was recovered, police said.
Bayalkoti's husband is in foreign country for employment.
