A man died and another sustained critical injuries in a bus-motorbike collision at Kairon-1, Morang along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as biker rider Meghnath Ojha, 60, principal at the Janata Secondary School, police informed.
He was the permanent resident of Sanischare-9, Jhapa.
The bus (Ko 1 Kha 5446) collided head-on with the two-wheeler (Ko 16 Pa 2197) at around 9:30 am today.
Police said that pillion rider Dambar Chemjong, 40, was critically injured in the incident.
He is receiving treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital.
