A woman has died under mysterious circumstances in Samsi VDC of Mahottari district.
The deceased has been identified as Shesh Istiya's wife Nasreen Khatun, 25, of Samsi VDC – 1, District Police Office (DPO), Mahottari said.
Khatun's husband Istiya is in Middle East in course of work. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling at her own house last night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Pokharel said.
The locals say that the Khatun, who has been living with her in – laws and two sons, seemed to be leading a happy life, according to police. Her body has been sent to District Hospital Jaleshwor for post-mortem examination. RSS
