Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has said that the election code of conduct would be issued after holding discussion with the concerned stakeholders.
At an interaction organised in the Capital on Tuesday, Yadav committed to hold the elections at any cost, adding that it could not be stopped in any pretext.
He stated that the code of conduct would be enforced within a week.
According to Yadav, over 21 thousand voting centres should be set up for the local elections.
He further shared that electronic voting was impossible as only 82 days were left for the polls. RSS
