A gang of five masked persons on Monday robbed Rs 875,660 from the house of Raj Kumar Lekhemaru of Bhaktapur Municipality-2.
The gang barged into the house of Lekhemaru by brandishing a pistol, overpowered the family members and decamped with the cash last night, police said.
Lekhemaru is the proprietor of Bhairab Brick Kiln.
Police said that the robbers also whisked away with two mobile sets and a walkie-talkie used in the brick kiln, informed Lekhemaru.
