As many as eight persons were injured when a truck met with an accident at Kolbung – 2 in Ilam along the Mechi Highway on Monday morning.
The injured have been identified as Binod Tamang, 26, Prabin Poudel, 21, Suman Poudel, 26, of Kankai Municipality – 8, Rajiv BK, 17, of Dhaijan – 6, Rajesh Rai, 33, of Kankai – 2, Bibek Subba, 21, of Dhaijan – 4, Sabin Dhamal, 24, of Jhapa Budhabare – 4, Deepak Rai, 42, of Kankai – 8.
According to SP Sushil Kumar Yadav of the District Police Office, Ilam, the truck (Ko 3 Pa 6060) was heading towards Pashupatinagar of Ilam from Birtamode of Jhapa when the incident occurred at around 6 am today.
The injured are receiving treatment at the B & C Hospital in Birtamode of Jhapa. RSS
