CK Raut supporters have looted a long-barrel gun from a police station in Rupandehi on Sunday.
The supporters of Raut took hold of the weapon during a stone pelting at Ododiya police station in Marchawar.
Three police personnel and one other person have been injured in the incident.
The police also fired five rounds of bullet in the air and five rounds of tear gas in a bid to disperse the crowd.
The police is conducting intensive search for the missing weapon.
The area has been tensed since the arrest of Raut. Police and Raut supporters had clashed on Saturday after which the police had detained 17 people.
Raut is facing charges for evoking secessionist ideologue.
