A pedestrian died after being hit by a truck at Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality-5 on Wednesday.

Police identified the deceased as Dipak Thapa, 29, of Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality-10.

Critically injured in the incident, Thapa was rushed to the Om Samaj Hospital in Satungal, but breathed his last during the course of treatment.
