Police on Wednesday arrested four persons in possession of a Buddha idol holding archaeological significance, Nepal Police said.
The suspects have been identified as Arjun Magar, 35, of Gati-5, Sindhupalchok, currently residing at Manohara, Kathmandu, Ram Sharan Magar, 23, of Marming-1, Sindhupalchok, presently living at Manohara, Kathmandu, Kale Gurung, 50, and Indra Gurung, 33, of Bharatpur Municipality-2, Chitwan, currently residing at Balaju, Kathmandu.
Police said they were arrested acting on a tip-off.
