Police apprehended a man in possession of a cache of undeclared Euro from the Tribhuvan International Airport in the Capital on Tuesday, Nepal Police said.
The suspect has been identified as Suraj Kumar Rai, 43, (Passport No. 06300463) of Chandragiri Municipality-30 on the western outskirts of Kathmandu Valley.
Rai was about to board a Qatar Airways flight to Germany via Doha when police nabbed him during a security check.
Police said that they have confiscated Euro 13,180 from his possession.
