Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi on Wednesday directed the chiefs of all security agencies to manage security for Free Student Union (FSU) election to be held on February 25.
Minister Nidhi this afternoon had summoned the chiefs of three security agencies—Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF)—to discuss issue related to security system.
It has been learnt that Chief District Officers of three districts—Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur—, Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor, Rector, Registrar and campus chiefs of Kathmandu Valley were also present in the meeting.
Earlier this morning, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had directed Minister Nidhi to manage security for the election.
