Two brothers were killed after falling off a cliff here at Ganjari on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Kare Dhami, 40 and his brother Pare Dhami, 30, of Ganjari – 2, local Basanta Bista said. The two brothers were heading home from Dudilakhan Bazaar in the evening when they slipped off the Bhanu cliff. Both reportedly died on the spot.
The younger brother had fallen off the cliff while trying to save his elder brother. District Police Office, Baitadi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Heramba Sharma, said a police team has been dispatched to the incident site, which is located at a distance of a day's walk from the district headquarters.
