Bara police on Tuesday made public four suspects behind twin murders that took place at Karaiya VDC-8 in December, 2016.
Samsul Hoda, Mojahir Ansari, Asish Singh and Umesh Kumar Kurmi, all from Bara, were paraded at the District Police Office as the suspects in the murders of Arun Ram and his nephew Dipak Ram, of Bihar’s East Champaran district in India.
Hoda, who was arrested in Dubai with the help of Interpol, is also suspected in two failed bombing attempts in Bihar’s East Champaran district in October 2016 as well as the 2016 November 21 train derailment in Kanpur, India, that killed 150 people. He had also run for a Constituent Assembly seat from Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party in the 2013 election.
