Police on Tuesday arrested an elderly man on the charge of killing his son over a land dispute in Ghodaghodi Municipality of Kailali district.
The suspect has been identified as Rajmani Rokaya, 72, of Rampur of Ghodaghodi Municipality-1.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, Rajmani killed his son Karna Rokaya, 43, by attacking him with a khukuri at around 11:30 pm.
Following the incident, Karna was rushed to the Nepalgunj Medical College in Banke, but breathed his last on the way, police informed.
