A man killed his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon at Sijuwa in Morang district on Wednesday.
According to police Inspector Keshav Kumar Katuwal, inebriated Uday Sutiyar attacked his wife Shanta with the sharp weapon at around 12:30 pm today.
Critically injured in the incident, Shanta breathed her last during the course of treatment at the Rangeli Hospital, Katuwal informed.
Uday also consumed poison soon after the incident and has now been receiving treatment at the Koshi Zonal Hospital, Biratnagar.
