Three persons including a police inspector were injured when a tiger attacked them at Ekdarwa in Lakhanpur VDC of Parsa district on Monday night.
Police Inspector Chakra Bahadur Sah stationed at the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, local Motilal Mandal and another one, whose identity is yet be established, were injured in the attack, informed police.
The incident occurred when they tried to take the big cat that came from the Parsa Wildlife Reserve under control.
SP Govinda Sah informed that preparations are underway to take the injured to a hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Health Care Hospital in Birgunj.
Police informed that they are yet to take the tiger under control.
