A manual worker involved in the construction of an access road to Nalsingadh Hydro Power Project died after getting crushed by a boulder falling from above a hillside.
The boulder fell when a rock blasting was taking place at Gedeni Cliff at Lanhan VDC. Ananta Kami, 27, of Ghetma VDC of Rukum was fatally injured in the incident.
The injured youth was being rushed to a hospital in Jajarkot when he succumbed to injuries on the way, District Police Office said. The access road construction site is filled with hard rocks. RSS
