BIMSTEC Secretary General calls on PM Dahal

Prime Minister Dahal is also the Chair of the BIMSTEC.
During the meeting, the duo discussed preparations of BIMSTEC Summit and the agendas to be discussed in the Summit, said PM's foreign affairs advisor Dr Rishiraj Adhikari.
On the occasion, the Secretary General had inquired about development of Buddhism in Nepal and infrastructure development in economic sector, Adhikari shared.
In response, the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to take his best efforts for the implementation of the agendas of the Goa Summit.
PM Dahal told Sumith that the fourth BIMSTEC Summit to be held in Nepal would discuss the agendas of connectivity, energy and economic development, Adhikari informed.
According to the PM's personal secretariat, Nepal as the chair of the BIMSTEC was seriously working for hosting the upcoming summit.
