Constitution and legal experts on Wednesday advised the government to amend the report of Local Level Restructuring Commission (LLRC) as per the need. 

Constitution experts made such suggestion during a meeting summoned by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to discuss the report submitted by LLRC to the government.

“The government can change the report as per the need because the Commission only has the rights to suggest the government,” constitution experts said during the meeting. Senior leaders of the ruling parties were also present in meeting.

On the occasion, PM Dahal also solicited advice from the legal experts on the ways to make the report unanimous and legal provision regarding the same. 

The government decided to put on hold the tabling of report at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday and seek consensus from other political parties.
