Ramechhap
Kulman Ghising, managing director of Nepal Electricity Authority, received a hero’s welcome when he visited his village in Ramechhap district on Sunday.
Ghising, who ended load shedding in Kathmandu and Pokhara after helming the NEA, was invited to his village, Duhu, as a chief guest at a function organised by his alma mater, Duhu Secondary School.
The villagers heaped praises on Ghising and felicitated him for his work. Ghising said he still had a responsibility of providing electricity to the people who are still living in dark. (PR)
