A 35-year-old local woman was gored to death by a rhino in Ratnanagar, Chitwan on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Laxmi Shrestha. The pachyderm attacked the victim as she was collecting fodder at Janakauli Community Forest with four other persons.
Another person sustained minor injuries, while the others fled on time. According to the Chitwan National Park, six people have been killed by wild animals in the district in the past six months.
