Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the Election Commission to be ready for local poll.
In a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav at PM's official residence, Baluwatar on Sunday, PM Dahal urged Yadav for the same sharing that the government was working out to hold the local poll by forging political consensus by third week of May.
Following the meeting, chief commissioner Yadav said that they held discussions on various aspects regarding local poll including the election law, announcement of election date and other issues as well.
On the occasion, Yadav apprised PM Dahal that the commission was making preparations to mark the Election Day on February 18. RSS
