As many as 13 passengers were injured in a jeep accident at Dhanmana Hile, Bhadrakali VDC-4 in Sindhuli district on Saturday.

The Sindhulimadi bound jeep (Ba 12 Cha 3646) heading to Amale VDC met with accident due to brake failure, according to the District Police Office, Sindhuli.

Among the injured, 12 are receiving treatment at District Hospital, Sindhuli while 13-year old Samjhana Kumari Bomjom of Bhadrakali-6 in the district, has been dispatched to the Dhulikhel-based hospital for further treatment, said DSP Subash Chandra Bohora.

The other injured ones have sustained injuries mostly in their head, back, hands and legs, according to District Hospital, Sindhuli. RSS
