A woman was killed in a wild elephant attack in Bhadrapur Municipality-2 of Jhapa district.
The victim, Palmaya Limbu, 41, was attacked by a wild elephant on Sunday evening while she had gone to a nearby forest to collect firewood. A 12-year-old girl, Sharmila Limbu, who was accompanying Palmaya, has gone missing.
The security personnel have been searching for the missing girl, Eastern Regional Police Office said.
