According to Traffic Police Office, Jhapa, the accident took place when a bus (Na 7 Kha 389) hit an e-rickshaw (Me a Ha 19). The deceased is the rickshaw driver Laxman Magar, 62, of Kankai Municipality-8.
Laxman's wife Indira Magar, 55, was injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at the Birtamode-based B&C Hospital, police added.
Police have impounded both the vehicles in this connection. RSS
