An elderly person was killed in a wild elephant attack at Sagfara in Ilam this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Jay Bahadur Limbu, 84, of Sagfara-2, said Sub-Inspector at Area Police Office, Madhumalla, Ganesh Bantawa.
The tusker had attacked Limbu when he was walking on the road nearby his house this morning. Critically injured Limbu died on the way to Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital from primary treatment at Urlabari-based Araniko Hospital, said police. RSS
