Kathmandu
Main opposition CPN-UML has decided not to withdraw its protest programme on January 6.
UML standing committee meeting made such decision on Tuesday—a day after the Supreme Court declined to issue an interim order against the government’s move to amend the constitution.
The main opposition party, however, said that it respects the verdict given by the apex court but will not back down from its stance urging the government to withdraw the amendment bill.
