The high-altitude region in Kalikot district witnessed snowfall on Monday afternoon, affecting the daily life there. Police said the snowfall affected life in Rupsa, Mumra, Dhaulagoha, Khin, Odanuk, Chilkhya, Jubitha and Rachuli VDCs.
Most of the schools were closed as a result of snowfall and cold temperature. Snowfalls were also reported in several parts of Khotang and Nuwakot districts on Monday. (PR)
