An unidentified group on Monday night shot at a money exchange owner at Biratnagar – 21 and made off with Rs 500,000 in cash.
The robbers came on two bikes with one bike identified with registration number plate, 11 Pa 2374, and shot at Kritesh Money Exchange owner, Batesh Kumar Sah, 40, of Biratnagar – 19 at 8:30 pm. Sah was returning home at the time of the incident.
The group fled with Rs 500,000 in cash belonging to Sah, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Yogendra Singh Thapa, of District Police Office, Morang.
Sah sustained bullet injuries in his left and right thighs and is undergoing treatment at the BP Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan. The Morang Police are searching for four men on two motorbikes. RSS
