Nepal and China on Thursday signed a bilateral assistance agreement for Rs15.7 billion (RMB 1 billion) to be used in Nepal for repair and improvement of the Syaphrubesi-Rasuwa-gadhi highway, upgradation and renovation of the Civil Service Hospital, and post-disaster reconstruction projects agreed between the two governments.
The grant agreement was signed and exchanged by Leela Mani Paudyal, ambassador of Nepal to the People’s Republic of China, and Zhang Xiangchen, the Chinese vice minister for commerce, on behalf of their respective governments.
