Two police personnel were injured in firing from across the border at Jhandenagar of Krishnanagar in Kapilvastu district along Nepal-India border on Thursday.
Police constables Karna Bahadur Pun and Mohan Shrestha, who were deputed near customs office in Krishnanagar, were injured in the firing.
It has been learnt that the bullets were fired from ‘air gun’ at around 2 pm today. Krishnanagar Area Police Office Inspector Basanta Rijal said the investigation is underway on the matter.
