NRA signs aid agreements with 248,559 families
The National Reconstruction Authority has signed tripartite agreements with 248,559 households in 12 earthquake-affected districts to provide the first instalment of house rebuilding aid as of Friday.

The NRA has so far distributed the first instalment of the aid to 35,292 households in 11 districts. Each household got Rs 50,000 of the pledged Rs 200,000.
The assessment of damaged homes in three districts of Kathmandu Valley, except for those in two rural villages in Lalitpur, is expected to start from next week.
So far, 533,155 households in 12 districts have been identified as the ones eligible for rebuilding aid.
According to the NRA, Gorkha district has the highest number of the quake-affected households who need rebuilding aid (13, 556). It is followed by Dolakha (8,814), Sindhupalchok (3,435), Dhading (2,859), Nuwakot (2,210), Sindhuli (1,178), and Ramechap (1,104).
