Farmullaha Mansoor has been elected as a central working committee (CWC) member of the Nepali Congress (NC). He garnered 1,222 votes under inclusive quota for Muslim to be elected as the first CWC member in the 13th General Convention (GC) of the Nepali Congress (NC).
His closest rival Mohammad Aftab Alam secured 1044 votes. A resident of Bara district, Mansoor was also a central member in the last working committee. He is also a lawmaker. He switched to Deuba camp ahead of the General Convention.
Likewise, Abdulla Satar secured 460 votes, Ahmad Miya received 104 votes, Arun Manab got 48 votes and Harun Rasid settleld for 43 votes.
