An android application has been launched in the Capital, targeting School Leaving Certificate examinees. Named EduNepal, the apps has course details of English, Mathematics and Science, which are considered tough subjects with highest failure rates in the examination.
The course of three subjects can be accessed in text, audio and audio-visual mediums, which the developers claim is useful even to the blind students. “This is the best way to teach students today,” said Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel during the launch on Wednesday, suggesting the developers to add other subjects as well to the apps. Currently the government has been using radio and television to cover the grade 10 courses that many students had missed out due to the earthquakes in April and May 2015 and months-long protest in the Tarai region.
