Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel has urged the agitating groups to get their demands met through talks. 

“People are suffering through the protest enforced by Madhes-based political parties. It is appropriate to seek solution to the crisis through dialogue,” he said. 

Poudel was speaking at a programme organised by Press Union Nepal in Syangja today. 

He claimed that the constitution has ensured rights of all communities. “It is the responsibility of all to protect achievements made through the constitution." 

Issues that the constitution has failed to incorporate could be addressed through its amendment and for that dialogue is necessary,” he said. 

He also accused the government of failing to deliver its works as expected. 

In a different context, he was ready to take responsibility of leading NC as its President through the upcoming NC 13th General Convention as per wishes of NC leaders and cadres. RSS
