CPN Maoist cadres have vandalised an Indian number plate bearer Jeep (26Z0227) at Vidyutchowk Bhimduttanagar today.
The jeep was heading to Gaddachauki from Chammanchowk. Police have arrested five cadres including Mahakali In-charge of the party Devidutta Pandey in this connection.
The police have escorted and escorted the vandalised jeep across the border. The banda (general strike) enforcers have targeted the Indian number plate bearing vehicles in the areas following their protest against the border blockade imposed by India.
Armed Police Border Security Office, Kanchanpur Chief SP Taradutta Pant shared that the Indian Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) have stopped the Indian vehicles heading to Nepal through Gaddachauki at Banbasa, India.
