Indian SSB men drags Nepal Police officer into Indian territory and beat up

The Indian border security force aka Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) on Sunday took a Nepal Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) under their control from Rani customes entry point in Biratnagar and thrashed him after taking him to Indian territory.
It has been learnt that the SSB men came to no-man’s land following a clash between Nepali security personnel and cadres of Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) and took ASI Pradeep Giri to the Indian side.
Morang Police Spokesperson DSP Pramod Kharel informed that the SSB snatched ASI Giri’s weapon after beating him up.
